Reston Association Election
The voting is over and the counting is done in this year's Reston
Association elections. The results include a three year term for Reston's
"First Citizen," Robert E. Simon, who will now have the opportunity to make
things happen again in the town he founded 30 years ago.
And, in an interesting display of anti-pool sentiment, voters said "No" to
the Polo Village Pool. There are apparently enough swimming holes within
the New Town's boundaries.
