Facts About the Professional Baseball Effort in Virginia

The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors will meet Monday, April 8th to determine if the Dulles Corner site should remain under consideration. A vocal minority has been waging a letter writing campaign in opposition to the Dulles Corner site. Our Supervisors are not hearing from the rest of the community who support the proposed site, and are getting the wrong message about how voters feel about bringing major league baesball to Northern Virginia.

It is imperative at this point for our Supervisors to hear from the community to let them know how much support exists for the Dulles Corner site. Call or fax them with your opinion immediately. Supporters are also encouraged to attend the Monday meeting which will be held at the Government Center at 3:00 p.m. Though it is not a hearing, it is important to have citizen representatives there to show support. Don't let a vocal minority dictate the outcome in this important issue.
