The report lists statistics for the Reston-Herndon business area including, commercial space, residential charcteristics, major retail centers, housing sales and rental statistics, major employers, associations, business establishments by industry, major hotels, traffic counts and public school enrollment.
According to the report, the Reston-Herndon area has: 22 percent of the County's total office space and 18 percent of total hotel space, 52 percent of business establishents in the services sector, a median family income of $77,000 (in the Upper Potomac Planning District) and public school enrollment of 17,066 students.
