Call for Creative Writers!
The Reston/Herndon Web invites web visitors of high school age and older to
submit an essay or creative writing piece to it's new "Issues, Essays and Ideas" page. The IEI page will be edited by the Web's own Doc Morris, overseer of the Dear Dr. Morris employment column.
Submissions will be published on the basis of suitablity, appropriateness and to
the limit of available space. Submissions must conform to the following general
requirements:
Must be the author's original essay or creative writing piece and not
subject to copyright other than that of the author, who shall retain all such
rights.
Must concern an issue or experience relating to life in Reston or
Herndon.
Must be 700 words or less in length.
Must be e-mailed in plain text format to staff@townweb.com
Subject matter is author's choice, but no inflammatory, insulting or
obscene material will be accepted.
Choice of material to be published is entirely at the discretion of
Herndon Web Services, Inc.
Author's screen print of article page will serve as evidence of
publication.
