Fairfax Genealogical Society The Fairfax Genealogical Society was established in 1974 as a non-profit organization to promote fellowship and cooperation among persons who are conducting genealogical research, to further the use of sound  genealogical methods, standards of accuracy, and scholarly research, and to aid those doing research in our area.

Friends of the Herndon/Reston Libraries The Friends of the Reston Regional Library are an active group of volunteers who support the Library through ongoing and special semi-annual book sales. Through the generosity of the Friends, the Reston Regional Library has been able to: sponsor special children's programs and other cultural events, fund new service desks, needed furniture, equipment and supplies.

Greater Reston Arts Center - The Greater Reston Arts Center (GRACE,) a non-profit arts organization founded in 1974, enriches community life by promoting involvement and excellence in the visual arts.

Jaycees of Virginia The Virginia Jaycees is the premiere leadership training and community service organization for young adults. The organization serves men and women between the ages of 21 and 40 and has been doing so since 1920.

Reston Lions Club The Reston Lions Club is a group of men and women, varying in age from the mid-twenties to the late seventies, who volunteer their time to humanitarian causes in Reston, Virginia and the world community. We also conduct service projects to raise funds to help those in need. In keeping with the traditions of Lions Clubs International, all funds raised from the public go into community support. The Lions motto is "We Serve".

Reston Newcomers Club is a social organization which has been active in the Reston area for over 30 years. This club is open to all residents of Northern Virgina who are interested in cultural/social experiences and monthly group activities such as: Bridge, Crafts,Couples Get-togethers, Book Discussions, Travel groups, Needlework groups, Sporting activities, Lunch and Dinner groups. New ideas are always welcome!

General Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month. These meetings provide time for socializing, coffee/sweets, and programs on topics of general interest. Annual dues are $21.00, which includes eligibility to attend all activities, a monthly newsletter and a club directory. Come join a stimulating group of women.
